Macintosh .DMG expansions

I made this account to say thanks to a member that told us how to download and set up expansions for the Sims 3 for mac and he helped me perfectly, and I will come back edit and quote him later, but I have an idea for the Macintosh side of this site. What if we were to post the .DMG files for Mac Users instead of making them mount all the files and go through that process. Now I'm not sure if this has been done, or if it is even possible to upload the mounted image, but sometimes it can take 10-20 minutes to mount it from Disk Utility.

Now I understand that 10-20 minutes does not seem like a lot but think of it this way: You have 8 or 9 expansions at once right? Your doing them all at once. Your Macintosh is probably gonna slow down a bit. Even if, lets say you only want to do one expansion, would it not be wrong to try to find a faster and easier way for the users to download and install these things quickly and most likely eliminate the pointless posts of how to mount and things of that matter.

Let me know if I'm a complete dummy and I don't understand one of the concepts but I think it could help a lot and make it a lot more Macintosh friendly and make this an amazing site for all users.

Thanks for sharing your opinions with us, it means a lot since we, mac users need help more than everyone.

There are a .dmg dowloading links in site, but since our mediafire account is closed we can't use them. We don't need to worry about, soon Admin will carry all the stuff to other site so we can use those links.

Let's see, we might be able to come up with a solution for that, but for now please keep in mind that we're originally a PC (Windows) game/software uploader and therefore our downloads are not specifically optimized for Mac OS.

The new MediaFire alternative will be up soon though, so you might want to contact me about this again by that time.
