pirated base game with legitimate expansion ?? Empty pirated base game with legitimate expansion ??

Hello everyone,

I have torrented versions of the Sims 3 base game and most expansions, however I am trying to stay away from torrenting and have some money so I'd like to buy Island Paradise. Will this work with my pirated base game and other expansions?

I had this question too! I have all legitimate games up to Seasons, but now I want Island Paradise. I'm trying to figure out if I'd copy and paste the "Ultimate Fix" files for all of them, or just for Island Paradise. So I hope someone answers you

 We don't have the same problem, I have all illegitimate games, including the base game, and I want to buy island paradise, but I'm afraid this wont work since I would need to go through origin

Hello,

Why would you need to install this "Origin" ? If you are prompted/asked during installation of an expansion if you want to install that, just select "no". Wink

And there shouldn't be any problems mixing bought games with the downloads from Games4TheWorld. Just follow the instructions here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
