Issue after Installing Island Paradise, Game will not load completely

I have all the Sims 3 expansions, I've never had an issue installing and getting them to work. I downloaded the Island Paradise EP today, updated it with the manual update and put the cracks in the right place.

My game starts up, I select my town/start a new game, and it loads up. However, it stops loading once its at like 95%. It just stays there. I left it open for 2 hours and it didn't move. I've never had this issue before, any ideas? It worked perfectly before I installed this.

 Rename the The Sims 3 folder in My Documents>Electronic Arts to something else it doesn't matter. But I prefer The Sims 3.old . See if it works. After that run your game launcher so game will create fresh brand new files.

That will get rid of all my mods and cc right though? I have about 6 gigs or more of CC and I dont want to lose it.
