Installation problems. [SOLVED]

  I had installed most of the sims 3 expansion packs up until University Life and they were working fine. I wanted to install Island Paradise and that's when the problems started. I have to admit that I hadn't downloaded the catches and fixes. What I did was uninstall all the sims games, and then reinstall them, without the cracks. When it came to install university life it asked for a disk, but there is none in the downloaded folder. When I skipped installing Unilife to install Island Paradise it didn't want to update the base gamewhen it worked fine throughout the previous games. I thought of applying the fixes or anything else that was suggested but to do all of that it is necessary to have the games installed. Am I doing something wrong? How can I fix this? Please help. Thank you

So I do this for Uni Life as well?

I was able to install Island Paradise just like you said, but Uni Life still won't go. When it's nearly done with installing it asks for a disk. I've already tried using the ones of the base game, but it doesn't recognize it either =/

Well Uni Life won't finish the installation and according to what I read, the fix can only be applied after the game is installed, or am I wrong?

I downloaded it today so I think the fix must be up to date.
I applied it but it still asks for a disk. I think I'm just gonna download the game again.
