Game freezes when booking a room Empty Game freezes when booking a room

Hello, so I have all eps except university, never had any issues and my game worked fine. 
I just tried to book a room on isla paradiso and my game got stuck. So I quit the game using task manager(stopped responding) 
I tried to do the same thing again.. the same thing happened. 
I don't have any mods or CC. Any help with that? Thanks x

EDIT: everything freezes except the plumbBob

have you tried deleting or moving your sims 3 folder under my documents/eagames/the sims 3. if not, do so and run the game, see if it still happens

Hello there,

Try this: quit the job of your sim, and then check into a resort. For now, don't save the game (quit without saving). Just see if this changes anything.

I've moved "the sims 3" folder and it worked but I didn't have my sim anymore. So I deleted the new the sims 3 folder and moved my old one back. Then tried to book a room again and it worked.. This game is unpredictable Razz
