"not enough space.." Empty "not enough space.."

Post by Guest Tue 30 Jul 2013, 05:35

Hello! I'm very new to this whole thing, so I apologize if this is a really stupid question.

I followed all of the instructions in the installation guide for The Sims 3 base game. Everything worked fine until I tried to move TS3.exe from the # crack folder to the mounted disc.

-I wasn't sure which disc to add it to, so I tried both. Both attempts resulted in a message that said "not enough room on disc.." or something of that nature.
-Also, I'm supposed to find Game Directory > Game > Bin, but neither disc had a "Game Directory" option.. I'm probably thinking too much, because I did find a bin in both discs just minus the "game directory" part.

I hope that's enough information to get some sort of help! Again, I am SO sorry if this is a really stupid question.
And thank you for all of the torrents and being so user friendly! Smile

Hello,

No question is stupid. Can you check if your hard disk drive you install The Sims 3 to have enough space? This problem may be caused by not enough space...

The #crack from the base game folder should be placed in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin, not the one in the virtual discs.

You must copy the crack to "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin", not to the mounted image Censored.

Moderator edit: Like cat2006house said, no question is stupid. So I suggest you keep your personal opinion about the topic creator to yourself.
