Loading saves and starting new game error. Empty Loading saves and starting new game error.

Yesterday, I installed The Sims 3: University Life and I started the game. 

My saves are nowhere to be found and I can't even start a new game. The menu is blank and the menu where you choose towns to start a new game is blank.

What to do, what to do?

Is your game installed in a language other than english?

HI,
did u install sims 3 base game and then the university life if u did so u should have backup i mean copied the save game files if u just installed the university life sometimes u need to just uninstall the both expansion and base game and do a good reinstall it may solve your problem on the blank screen.the one i said is the best one according to me.I think this may help you a bit

It is exactly like that. I was going to post pictures but I just registered on the forums, so I need to wait 7 days. Thank god you popped up and had the same problem as me.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello,

Can you try to delete the cache?

-Open the folder My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and delete the following files: CASPartCache.package, scriptCache.package, compositorCache.package, and simCompositorCache.package

Hello,

This problem can be caused by wrong application of the Ultimate Fix. Are you sure you have dragged and dropped the content of the #crack folder of the Ultimate Fix to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The SIms 3\Game\Bin and replace the files inside?
