The Sims 3 has stopped working. Tried Everything!! HELP

Hi,
I have tried everything DEP, delete cache files blah blah blah. My game still crashes while in the gameplay. I get about 1 - 2 minutes into playing then it crashes and say The sims 3 has stopped working...... please help me

I have tried everything DEP, delete cache files blah blah blah. My game still crashes while in the gameplay. I get about 1 - 2 minutes into playing then it crashes and say The sims 3 has stopped working...... please help me

You can also rename the folder instead of deleting it and drag and drop the content of C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\(name of renamed folder)\Library to Library in The Sims 3 folder (new folder generated by the application).

I had this problem on my netbook (your computer should run Sims 3 fine).
I can't find the original thread so I'll have to do it from memory.
I believe I uninstalled everything but keeping my saves and sims (find the folder that keeps these in and back them up).
One by one, I installed the expansions and stuff packs I wanted following the instructions that came with the file (using the crack folder for each game)
Then I applied the Ultimate Fix. After this the game worked.
After this you can put back your saved sims/cc.
NOTE: Make sure all your game copies are either bought or from Games4theworld or the Ultimate Fix will NOT work and your game may experience crashes (I had a none games4theworld pets and it was causing a crash similar to this one I had).

Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads (CC)
Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saved Sims

Ok I'm gonna give that a go. Would you guys recommend I use the base game from my disc or origin? Island Paradise is on Origin.

I bought my Sims 3 base game and is the one I'm using now.
As long as its bought or from Games4theworld it shouldn't affect the process. ^^

If you have downloaded from Games4theworld, each game when unzipped/unrarred, comes with a #Crack folder.
I had a lot from them so I applied the Crack from the game folder, then once I installed them all, I applied the Ultimate Fix.

The Ultimate Fix is intended to fix the problem of "No Disc Error" and missing text bubbles in the main menu. Since all your games are store bought, I suggest you read this very carefully. Apply DEF fix to all applications that you have not applied to. And make sure you have used the 4GB patch mentioned in the post and also command prompt fix.
