The Sims 2

So, I installed it fine, but the game doesn't open. I have Disc 1 mounted, but it just opens the "the Sims 2" screen and then closes.

Oki, got it to work. It took some tinkering.
Can't wait for AL and M&G Stuff!

Oki, broken again. It works and loads the game, but I can't play with my Sims. Whenever I try to enter a household, Windows errors and says "Error! The program will now close."
Help D: I just spent 3h making a fantastic lot. I want to play!
