Hello everybody.
First I would like to sent my excuses, because I'm french and my English isn't very good.

I downlaoded some add-on for the sims 3.
Everything went right with all the installations.
But when I tried to install and play "movie stuff", a window appeared, to tell me "insert movie stuff cd".

I looked in this forum, and I saw the patch and the ultimate fix, I downloaded both, and apply them, but the problem of CD persists.

So I'm sorry if I post in the wrong forum, But this problem is really boring Sad

Hello,

Can you tell me which folder in the Ultimate Fix did you access? What is the version of the base game? You can check by running the launcher and hover over the base game icon at the bottom of the launcher.

I took the file #Crack, to put it in the file "bin" of the base game.
My game is at the last update, and when I tried to apply the update given in this forum, it tells me my game is already updated ...

Hello,

Please reapply the manual patch and the #crack of the Ultimate Fix even though you are told that you have the latest update for your game. Also did you download and install the base game via Origin?

Yes, I had the base game via origin.
I would reapply that tomorrow, and I would give you some news of my problem...
So, I just have to make the update patch, and then, take what's in the #Crack file (of the "ultimate crack"), to put it in the file "bin" of the base game?

Yes, when prompted select "Copy & Replace" to replace the original files with the Fixed files.

Hello,

This is where the problem lies: You thought the base game bin folder is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts? No, the base game folder should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games.

Oh, no, I downloaded all the add-on thanks to Games4theworld Wink
And I always put the #Crack in the file sims 3 (in electronic arts) and it always works Very Happy






Edit : well, I just re-installed the movie stuff, and put the crack in the file in "origini games", and it works...
Maybe just there were a problem and I extract it, I don't know, but it works Wink
