I play it a bit of midnight hollow and then later it's crashed my game was not responsing so and toy machine was not working so i am buying a new midnight hollow which will work proberly Sad

Hello,

Personally, I would not BUY the world. Store items in the Sims 3 are known to have all kinds of issues; and some of them will be fixed by the "store fixes" eventually. There is nothing wrong with Games4TheWorld's store items, if you think that; but of course, it's your decision.

Indeed, buying the game/game stuff is not going to fix those kind of problems, lol. Even people with original copies have such issues. (EA isn't very helpful either)

I assume Midnight hollow have no Festival Ground, because i can't find one of them ..

If the festival grounds are not in your community lots library, it can be downloaded from TS3 Exchange (Midnight Hollow festival created by SimGuruSmitty).

I haven't downloaded it yet myself so I can't say how good it is, or isn't. Hope it's okay to add this lot link.

Hi Mallea,

The problems with the sales clerks seems to be a common issue from what I've read here and there. Same issue no matter where or how players got M.H., the shop and toy machine. Maybe EA will fix that in a patch sometime but don't count on it happening, or happening very fast.

You may need to update your store fixes if you have that file, or may need to add it if you don't. That should hopefully fix the problem you're having with the toy machine. Check on the G4TW downloads pages (where the world is) and you should find store fixes info, or do a search here on the forums to see if an update has been posted.
Oh, I'm kind of glad it wasn't just me the one with those issues... I thought I may have done something wrong...
Anyway I guess I'll have to wait for someone to release a fix... I'll be checking G4TW download page, thank you

I have the same problem with the toy machine. So, is the latest store fix supposed to fix this problem? Because I read the list of what it fixes, and two items are colored blue:

No acc for Milkin' It Dairy Corral
No acc for The Titanic Toy Machine

I don't know what that means?

I've applied the latest store fix before I installed Midnight Hollow and all other worlds... Do I need to it again for the fix to work?

Hello,

Blue means that those fixes have been added in the latest version of the Store Fixes.
If you install any new content, the Store Fixes will not be overwritten, so no need to re-apply them. (But if you want to be sure, feel free to do so)

If you are having problems with content not working properly after adding the Store Fixes, replace the objects with new ones. Sometimes it's a weird combo of replacing content, closing game, clearing 5 cache files, restarting game, replacing content.

But that's the case no matter where or how you get your 'store stuff'...including from the store.

Cache Files mentioned above:
CASPartCache.package
simCompositorCache.package
socialCache.package
scriptCache.package
compositorCache.package

Thanks for the help! I reapplied the fix and deleted the Cache files, now it works fine Smile

Too bad I still can't delete the two white boxes I have in my inventory...

Concerning the inventory, I got rid of the boxes by giving them as gifts to other sims...

I have the world but its not all that. I mean all the stuff you get with it is great, but the world itself is fairly laggy and its hard to see when you're building a house because its a bit dark lol
