The Sims 3 CC "Please Make Sure Your Game Has the Latest Software Updates and Try Again" Error's 100% Solution

Most of exchange items not installing via Sims 3 Launcher if you updated your Sims to latest as I experienced
First of all I want to say that I made this guide for xnoirx and I will glad if you can move this topic to tips and tricks.
Have you tried to install a Custom Content to Sims 3 via launcher and it says you:  "Please make sure your game has the latest software updates and try again."? Then you need to decrapify your sims3pack. Here is the link for it. There is a guide inside how to make it. Thank to G4TW!
   You decraped your sims3pack and it still not works, you need to download CC Magic which is powerful CC installer. Here is the link. You need a free account to download it. It needs 3 more programs to get it work. Here is their link:

*Microsoft .NET Framework 4
*Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86)
*Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)

Note: You need both (x86) and (x64) to make it work.

   Then install CC Magic, then install these 3 files. Next, you are able to open CC Magic. Copy the sims3pack that you want to install with CC Magic then paste the files to Documents>Electronic Arts>CC Magic>Contents>Sims3Packs. After, open the CC Magic, from now I will explain with pictures

When you open CC Magic, it should look like that :



   Click to enable button at the right top corner of CC to activate it or deactivate.
When you are done, you need to click Rebuild button at the top to make your selected CC's activated in game.



    Now you are done! Your sims3pack succesfullt installed. Now you can start Sims 3 with CC Magic or Sims 3 launcher, it doesn't matter!
If you want to start game with CC Magic, press play button at the top left corner . I hope this guide helped you!

Okay so i dragged the sims3pack file and put it in Documents>Electronicarts>CC Magic>Content>Sims3Pack and then i opened CC Magic and then i clicked enable and then rebuild it said rebuild complete then i opened game booster and runned the sims 3 does it mean it installed successfully to my sims 3?

okay it did download into my game her hair isnt there and her outfit isnt there either :/

For that Katy Perry sim you need showtime and katy perry's swet threats. Because hair and outfit is from this expansions

Ugh.. I'm so confused

I downloaded the Sims 3, seasons, and pets all from Steam.

I stumbled across this website because a few days ago, I noticed that I kept getting an error that says "Please make sure your game has the latest software updates and try again."  

I followed your link and downloaded CC Magic

I've confused myself to no end. 

I first started out and organized my files.  Next, I hit the "Configurations" tab and moved all over my folders over the left to the "Enabled Sets" section.

Next, I hit "Rebuild."

I figured I would hit "Play" next, but it doesn't seem to work.  It just crashes and says I need to close the program.
So, I figured I would play the sims 3 from steam.  I looked in the "Downloads" section and there's nothing there.  Is that because my sims3packs have been moved from my downloads folder to the CCMagic folder?

I'm nervous to play the sims 3 from the original starter.  I don't want to lose everything.

I don't understand what I did wrong..

If anyone could help me out, that would be greatly appreciated!!

EDIT: Also it did not let me download the x86 and x64 downloads. This is what it says:

A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine.

i guess you have to download the newer version? if not try disabling your antivirus please.

Then download the 32-bit version...?
But if you download and install ALL Windows Updates, including the optional ones, you should already have the latest C++ Redistributable Package version.

CCMagic works with PACKAGE file? Theres a bunch of my .package file i put in the mod folder corrupt the launcher. Its hair mesh thingy.

Yes it works with .package files, go to Documents>Electronic Arts>CC Magic>Contents and there must be packages folder. Copy all your package files to there it will work fine.

Nvm cagil. Now im using s3pe to merge my package files into one file. So that my game wont lag too much. As for my sims3packs ill convert them to package by using multinstaller. Thankyou. Will lookin fwd this CC Magic later.
