Manual Patch Download problem. [SOLVED]

thank you so much for your downloads and tutorials, they're a great help!
I was wondering if you could put your manual patch on the 'How to intall the sims correctly' in a torrent file...(I know this might be a problem because of the seeding, but if you could divide it in some smaller files and upload it... I think other users might have this problem as well!) I live in China and downloading directly over here takes the whole day and sometimes it fails after a few hours, and the manual patch is huge!!

Hello,
If you download (from Games4TheWorld) the latest expansion/stuff pack that was released, you will also get the latest manual patch. For example, the latest release is "The Sims 3: Movie stuff". If you open the .RAR file and look under the folder Support/Updates you will see the latest manual patch too (in this case the patch 1.57.62.0230xx).

So you mean if I follow the tutorial about how to install the sims 3 correctly, I can skip that step?
I torrented University life a few days ago and installed it but I haven't put the Ultimate Fix because I was afraid of skipping that step. So I look under the extracted folder in the .rar file in the torrent and I find that?
My Sims 3 is currently up to date because it was bought with Origin but I wanted to put more expansions.
I'm going to try what you said and I'll report soon, thanks!

Yes, you can "skip" step #2 in the tutorial then. But you always have to download the latest release, in order to get the latest manual patch.
As of now, the latest release is "Movie stuff". //EDIT
And after applying the latest manual patch, you should also apply the latest Ultimate fix too (steps #3 and #4 in the tutorial).

Otherwise, if you don't want the latest expansions/stuff packs (so only the patch), then I'm afraid you have to google for a torrent on that, if you can't download it directly.
