University life problem! [SOLVED]

The first few weeks after installing the base game together with university life and seasons, everything was working perfectly and then, I enrolled my sim to university and the loading page won't finish. After 15 minutes it just got stuck to the travelling to university screen, minimizes itself and closes.

I am not sure if this will work normally (for the fear that your sims cannot apply for a degree and study in university town), but can you try downloading and applying the mod Traveler, which can be downloaded here: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Traveler. The instructions on the installation of mods can be found here: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/Downloads/Guides/How_to_install_.package_files.pdf.

Can you tell me do you have any Custom Content/Mods installed?

I installed the saver and errortrap mods only before.

Will do what you recommend if the traveler mod fails. I'll let post with the results

If possible, delete the following caches in C:\Users\(your computer name)\Dcouments\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3:

Create-a-Sim Cache: CasPartCache.package
Build/Buy mode cache: compositorCache.package
Mod or custom content cache: scriptCache.package
New Sims and skin cache: simCompositorCache.package
Look for a folder that says Thumbnails. Delete anything inside of it.
Look for WorldCaches and delete anything inside of it. (if there is no such folder called WorldCaches, don't worry: it's normal)

Are you sure the Saver and Errortrap mods you applied is up-to-date (compatible with 1.57)?

Yes, the mods I previously installed is up to date.

EDIT: Deleted the stuff you told me to delete and I have installed the Traveler mod together with the Register and Relationship Panel because that's what the site of the nraas recommended. Nothing happened, I still got the notice that the "The Sims 3 has stopped working".
