I have the same problem with TudorQueen as she mentioned at ""plan outfit" freeze" topic. I do have cc, yet i didn't have any problems since yesterday and i don't have any new cc. I have all the expansion packs so the solution that TudorQueen came up with won't work with me. I've been playing the game for 4 months without any problem, i downloaded them from here and installed them as you described it. I have the ultimate fix. I don't want to uninstall my game, so please help

Please go to Documents\Electronic Arts and rename "The Sims 3" folder to "The Sims 3.old".
See if it works better now. Your CC will not be in the game anymore nor any saved item (we will get it back don't worry!)

I did that and it works ok, thank you for that. How can i get my saves and cc back?

That means some of your CC is corrupted/out of date.
You can delete the ".old" in the name of the folder, and everything will be back to before.
Just delete your CC or mods that are out of date!

I deleted the ".old" in the name of the folder and corrupted files but the problem is back. What else can i do?

OK, for now let's try this: rename that folder again (with the .old). Start the game, then exit it. You'll then see that a new folder has been created in My Documents/Electronic Arts.

Now, go to your renamed folder (.old), and copy the following things:

-The folder Saves.
-The folder Installed Worlds.
-The folder DCCache.
-The folder Mods.

And then you paste all of this stuff into your NEW "The Sims 3" folder; this should bring back all your CC, save files and mods.

Test the game again. If it doesn't work, then don't worry (yet), there are other possible solutions, but we'll get to that later. Good luck for now !

I did that too and the problem's still there. What's wrong with it

okay, i know it's a little late to say that but i started a new game and nothing's wrong when i try to plan outfit in that save. so something's wrong with my household i guess.

It is fixed. First, i used testingcheatsenabled cheat and edited the sim in cas then i tried to plan outfit and it worked. Thank you two so much for helping me.
