Can the Sims 3 fix for Windows be applicable for Mac?

Hi guys, I went to the page where you download the Ultimate Fix for sims 3 (Ultimate Fix). I tried to click the direct link, but I think that games4theworld is under maintenance and therefore it did not work. I tried the mirror, but the file I got was a file from 2011/2012 I think, not the latest fix, but a temporary fix. I tried downloading the Windows version of the fix through the mirror, and I got the latest fix. So, my question is, can I use this fix for my Mac as well? I really would like to be able to play Sims 3: Into the Future as soon as possible!

The files in the #crack folder works for Mac as well. You can go ahead and use it. Just make sure you follow the guide for mac though

That's part of my problem -- I can't access the games4theworld website because I think it's down right now. Is it possible that a mirror exists?

Copy the two files in the #Crack folder.

Navigate to Applications>The Sims 3

Right-click> Show package contents> Resources> Transgaming> C drive> Program Files > Electronic Arts> The Sims 3> Game> Bin

Paste the two files there.

Darn I didn't know that the G4TW version of the base game doesn't work for Mac... Downloading RELOADED now, I'll update you on whether or not it works.
