Sims 3 (Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb). [SOLVED]

Hi, I read the instructions carefully and followed everything. From installing the base game, then the expansions.. then updating the game. it all went well.

After updating, I downloaded the fix and dragged and replaced the .exe and .dll..

Just like in the video and what the instructions in the PDF says.

When I clicked the shortcut I made, the service initialization failed came out.

When I tried to open the launcher, it says "There was an error during startup. Please the Log for more details"

Help! Please?? Thank you!

Have you ever uninstalled an expansion packs/stuff pack?

If you do, you might be interested in this:


Please notice that if your pc is 32-bit instead of 64-bit, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE >> Sims instead in the registry editor.
