Installing

So I downloaded the base game and its still in 1.2 when i try updating the game from the client itself it stops midway and says no patch available ......... SO I do the Sims patcher thingie from the forums and when i open it sims it obviously says I cant open it ( since i havent gotten and expansion yet ) , so I downloaded Movie Stuff, I followed ALL steps in the guide to install it, once i get to the iinstalling part the icon just bounces on my dock, if I Push it it just disappears ... Help Please <3

If the update fails via the launcher for some reason, please download the manual patch instead HERE.

After downloading, double click on the patch to run it.

Let us know if it works out for you!

once I use that I can't be able to open Sims 3 Anymore thats where i get lost.

So what do i do know? the installation doesnt work,
Should I Manual Patch?
if I manual patch an uninstaller will come up, and also "The Sims3" will say something.. soo?

Sorry that I have been away for awhile. 

When you apply the manual patch correctly (double click) you should not receive any uninstaller pop-ups.

Have you tried to redownload the manual patch?

okay the clearing the transgaming worked :DDDDDDD
it wouldn't let me update so i used the manual patch. then i got 3 files usin it
an uninstaller the sims3(itself) and a text documents (YAY IT WORKED) so i installed 1 of the ep's and did all the steps etc. it got to a part where i had to select a location to put the game ( MACINTOSH HARDRIVE ) my regular thing, then it said something like ( sims3 cannot be find here ) or something, then i looked around focus and found that you make a file in the applications folder with a .(something here) at the end and it worked when i tried installing  now I'm installing every pack atm THANKS

okay well i haven't started the game yet.. I'm still installing the expansions and doing the disk utility thing for my drives.
