Installing Mods after installing "the Fix"?
Hello
First of all I'd like to thank you guys so much for the games you let us download and all the support and the helpful instructions and everything. It's made my year finally getting all of the Sims games!
I've successfully installed a few expansion packs from you guys and used the fix and it's all going like clockwork as far as I can tell, but as you can tell I'm new here (first post) and I am quite a noob.. Before I installed all of the new games I reinstalled my Sims 3 game and I backed up all of my previous mod downloads and saved games to another folder. Is it completely safe to move those mods and saved games into the new "Documents > Electronic Arts" folder? I'm also not sure if downloading fresh mods from the Sims 3 site would disrupt my game by any chance?

Hello,
Your saves are fine to move back. As for your mods/cc, it depends. Objects don't usually cause problems, but if you're using overrides, core mods, sliders etc. you'll have to go back to where you downloaded them from and get updated versions.
