Post by Guest Mon 09 Dec 2013, 15:46

Hi, I immediately want to point out that I'm Polish, and I use a translator, so I apologize in advance for my English.
so I have a problem for some time, the sims have a huge lag. I have installed all the extras and for a time everything worked. I uninstalled all, I installed again, unfortunately, the problem is the same. I put the video below.
move objects around a sim is in place, time does not flow
thank you in advance for your help

To clarify, only the time's stuck? Or did the screen freeze? Could you move your cursor and the camera and shift the focus?

All jams for several seconds, I can not do anything my character, because she is in a place such as the time, and everything else (trees, sign over his head, etc) is moving

Can you try these methods out: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t857-the-sims-3-crashes-freezes-to-desktop-fix-updated-on-29-09-2012?

In the meantime, you can also delete the following files in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3:

Create-a-Sim Cache: CasPartCache.package
Build/Buy mode cache: compositorCache.package
Mod or custom content cache: scriptCache.package
New Sims and skin cache: simCompositorCache.package
Socialcache.package
Look for a folder that says Thumbnails. Delete anything inside of it.
Look for a folder that says WorldCaches. Delete anything inside of it.

If you have any mods/Custom Content installed, remove them completely and run the game to see if there are any differences.

I'm at downloading the patch but I do not know what location I choose? : (
...
Assigning more RAM memory to the game:

It's a fact that 32-bit systems can not use more than 4GB of RAM, even if you have more installed, your PC will only use a maximum of (theoretical) 4GB RAM. It works the same way for 32-bit applications. Unfortunately, The Sims 3 is a 32-bit game and will only use up to 2-3GB of RAM. In order to increase this amount and the game's performance, please download this little tool:  and read the instructions to apply it.

After doing so, your game should run a lot smoother!'

//EDIT: it did not help that now: (?

Please do not double-post, it is against the rules!

You need to double click this Manual Patch. Did you do it?

Hello,

If you have downloaded that "4 GB patch", then double-click on it and choose the TS3W.exe in the base game location. Usually, that's C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

Also, have you actually read this topic here too ? Smile  https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t4692-game-lag-possible-fixes

Plus, try the tool "Gamebooster" (look on Piratebay).

And yes, please don't double-post. Wink  Good luck, and let us know your outcome !
