Hello,
I am having problem with my launcher. When I go to open up my launcher it opens but then I get an message saying sims 3 launcher has stopped working and then it closes. Now, I have been playing the game all week long and it was doing fine, I just recently applied the temporary store fixes and I played with it for the last 4 days and everything was working fine, no problems. But I just tried to play my game tonight and that when I got this error. I did follow up on cleaning my cache and I do have custom content.

Please help! Thanks. Help

hi there did u try to update the game to latest version and apply the new ultimate fix and also try to remove the custom content if it doesnt help wait until a moderator or helper showsup

Like the other poster said, are you using the LATEST manual patch and the LATEST Ultimate fix ? In case of doubt, re-do the steps from 2 to 4 here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Besides, I recommend starting the game with TS3W.exe anyway. So go to your base game location; usually that's C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and look for the TS3W.exe file. Right-click on it and choose "send to...desktop (create shortcut)".

Use that TS3W.exe shortcut on the desktop then to start the game.

Hello there, sorry Im getting back late I had to work today. To answer your question, I am using the latest  update and ultimate fix. My game was working fine, I just don't know why its giving me this problem.

solved! solved!

Thank you Guys for all your help, but I tried all your solutions and it didn't work. So But I did find a solution to the problem and for anyone else who has the same problem..
Just Go to : Documents/Electronic arts/Sims 3/DC Cahce - delete missingdeps.idx

This works for me and my game is up and running...Fixed
