University life help!! :(

Okay so ive done all this stuff before my computer crashed and i got a old computer (windows xp) and  all i have is the sims 3 and movie stuff. i had into the future but it lagged so much that i said F*** it. but my problem is even before i deleted into the future it says i need a disc while installing. ive never came across this before so i need some help. i dont know if i have to like delete all the sims games and then do it or what i have the manual patch and the update patch done. ive tried the " how to install the sims 3 correctly" but it didnt work so someone please help me.

Use the crack from the #crack file in the ultimate fix. This should correct your issue. Otherwise attempt using the crack file from the Movie Stuff download file. After doing this, my game worked correctly again. Good luck and happy simming!
