Unique problem here, PLEASE HELP!!!!

Okay I just brought a new laptop (pretty good one) kind of a gaming laptop and I installed all of my Sims 3 games from Origin. I brought all of them except "movie stuff" and "into the future". I downloaded those two from here, the game then prompted me to update to version 1.67 so I did. I don't know if it was downloading the two games (which I cracked and installed correctly) or updating the game to 1.67, but the start up screen is blank. There is no words, no cites, no saves, nothing. I uninstalled the two games, but the problem still persists so this makes it different than the other post I seen with a similar issue. Will the ultimate fix be able to fix this issue? I don't wanna uninstall and reinstall everything due to limited internet access. Below is a pic of what I see. Pleaaaaaseeee help I just wanna start my game!!!! What he said.

If your game is patched to the latest version AND if you have correctly applied the latest Ultimate fix, this should not happen. Have a look at this topic here and (re-) do the steps from #2 to #4: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Please follow these steps as precisely as possible. And if your base game is from Origin, please copy and paste the #crack files from the Ultimate fix (step #4 in the guide) into the following location: C:\Program files(x86)\Origin games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

And you need to overwrite all existing files (choose "copy and replace" for all files when you paste the Ultimate fix to that base game location).

Make a shortcut to the desktop from the TS3W.exe, and use this shortcut to start the game.

And that should do ! Good luck !

For some reason the ultimate fix makes my games lag every time I move. I called EA and I had to un install all of my games and I'm currently re downloading them. The custom content from here and the store fix doesn't really mess my game up, but the ultimate fix does. Is it possible for me to just have the store content and store fix without the ultimate fix? And can I install Twallans mods without the ultimate fix?

I haven't played that much with the new patch version 1.67 and the Ultimate fix (I just updated it yesterday). But we don't have any other users reporting any lags.

Most likely that's NOT due to the Ultimate fix. The main purpose of the fix (compared to non-cracked game files) is that it allows you to play without having to insert a physical disc.

In any way, un-installing was not necessary, and it might cause you even more trouble than before. If you insist on avoiding the Ultimate fix, then download the "temporary fix", here: http://goo.gl/txh7AP

I'm not sure exactly what it is, I read the lag article you attached. It just seems like every time I install it the game gets all skippy. I'm gonna play for a while with no CC and see how the game acts. I un installed because I deleted the base game because I used a crack in the base game bin folder which I thought was responsible for the blank screen. After un installing the base game and reinstalling it none of my other games were in the launcher but they were still installed on my PC according to my desktop and control panel.

If you used wrong cracks, it would have been enough if you just re-applied the manual patch and then the Ultimate fix (a.k.a. the steps from #2 to #4 here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly )

If your Windows is 64-bit AND if your computer has 4 GB of RAM or more, then focus on step #3 in particular. Download the "4 GB patch" from here. After downloading, double-click on that 4 GB patch and in the next prompt, choose the TS3W.exe in your base game location. Usually, that's C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

Again, note that this method will not work if your Windows is 32-bit and/or if you have less than 4 GB of RAM on your computer.

See if this improves your game performance.

Okay I'm going to try that. This is off topic but do you know if the g4tw store content site will add anything after their July 2013 set or is there anywhere else that uploads store content?

There were/are technical issues while working on the site; also, the amount of work is quite big, which means that it will take another while until the site is 'finished'.

In the meantime, you can either wait, or google for the items you want (I'm not going to post any "outside download links", since they are not allowed here). But with a little bit of patience, you should be able to find these items with google. Smile

Okay thanks much, game is up and working now. The ultimate fix is only for if you install a game from here right? I only got store content and the store fix as of right now.

The "Ultimate fix" from Games4TheWorld should also work if you have one or more games on a physical disc (DVD) or even if you have one or more games installed via Origin.

It doesn't work with STEAM games though.

please help me !!!!! i instaled the game and island paradise,but is crusing all the time ,i reinstalled itt but still don't function good , is crushing again , and is saying that the problem with crushing is the TS3W , i think that the crack is invalid in the ultimate fix, i update it with the manual patch to 1.67 , but the crack provided in the ultimate fix is not good , please tell me what to do and how to play the game normay !!!! thanks
