Want to do ultimate fix, stopped at first expansion pack. [SOLVED]

I don't know how to comment and stay involved in the threads, it wouldn't let me before.  ANYWAY, I am having an issue.  I just completed fresh downloads of all of the expansions and stuff packs/update packs available through game for the world. I successfully installed The Sims 3 the way it says.

I wanted to do the Sims 3 ultimate fix which says to avoid the cracks and install normally (I think).  With World Adventures, the first expansion pack, it says it needs to update or else it will end the installer.  Then it says that the install was interrupted and must be terminated.

When I did it a second time, I tried installing the updates and following the cracks instead.  When I tried to update from 1.0.631.00002.exe (the first one) it said invalid file found and aborted.  What am I doing wrong?

When you do this, Install the base game. Download and run the manual patch. Then install all the expantions that you want. Ignore the installation instructions. The only thing you will need from these is the game keys. Once you have everything you wanted installed, apply the crack from the #crack folder of the ultimate fix. This will install everything properly.

I did what you said.  All of the other expansions I have tried will install normally, however, World Adventure asks for a disc then aborts the setup.  Is there a fix to this?  I tried searching and couldn't find it.

I did that.  And when I went to download it, it asks for a disc.
