[Mac ]The version of The Sims™ 3 installed is not updatable and is not compatible with The Sims™ 3 Island Paradise. [SOLVED]

I downloaded "Sims 3 Complete" version from pirate bay

after a while, I installed Supernatural expansion without any problem.

Then two days ago I installed Into the future, Seasons and University life without any problem so far. It's all playable so I decide to install more.

Yesterday I downloaded and tried to install Island paradise and Movie stuff and both got same error

"The version of The Sims 3 installed is not updatable and is not compatible with The Sims 3 ******"

What version is your game at currently?

I wonder that it might be caused from wrong region serial number because I randomly surf through the internet to get one (of course, Mac cant open keygen which is in .exe format)

I think I will try to use keygens in my PC first then I will ask for your support again if there is any problem.

Using a keygen for installation is not quite suitable for Macs.

There is a link included in the guide to a mac-friendly base game and includes step by step instructions on how to install your game and expansions.

I never know there is a serial in .dmg file because I always found one in torrent description.
