This version of the sims medieval installed is not updatable.

I'm trying to install the pirates and nobles pack to my Games4TheWorld version of Medieval.
After some looking around the internet, apparently the reason I'm getting told to re-install the base game in order for the expansion to work, is because I cracked it.
So does anyone have the original TSM.exe and Tslhost files ? Or do I really have to re-install and lose all saved data >_<
