The Sims 3: Island Paradise - Failing To Update. [SOLVED]

Im trying to install The Sims 3: Island Paradise expansion pack, but when I start the installation process, a pop-up appears saying that it needs to update first. This has happened for most of the previous packs so I click yes, but then another pop-up appears saying that it failed to update. None of the previous packs have failed and it keeps failing every time I try to install Island Paradise. 

So far I've installed all of the expansions packs, bar Island Paradise and Into The Future (With the base game, World Adventures and Ambitions installed from disc) as well as High-End Loft Stuff and Fast Lane Stuff (Also from disc). I'm currently downloading the latest launcher update and I'm following the *MUST READ* installation guide to the letter, but I don't know what to do. 

Should I install some/all of the 'stuff packs' that come before Island Paradise to try to fix this, or should the latest launcher update fix it? Or is there something else I should do? Thanks c:
