Island Paradise: Disc Cannot Be Found After update to 1.67. [SOLVED]

Hello guys/gals The Sims 3 plumbob

I downloaded your Sims 3 Island Paradise, I recently updated to the 1.67.2 from Origin and when I load the game it says Island Paradise Disk Cannot be Found Why God.

I am assuming that I have to update the crack in order to play the game? : DedicatedToLorilihim

Can you please point me in the right direction? I tried looking for a related topic (thread) in here but I couldn't find one. Why.

Hello Jessica_Revolver, Smile

Just a small thing to add to what Sim Architect posted before: whenever you (re-)update your Sims 3 game, any previous crack files you may have put in, will be deleted, meaning you will need to re-crack the game.

You will want to focus especially on steps #4 and #5 in the guide that Sim Architect posted before, which deal with downloading and applying the crack files.

Hello friends,

I am a bit confused. When i go to c:\ProgramFiles>electronic arts>the sims 3> game >bin

When i go to re-do step # 4 & #5 i find that TSW3 & TSLHost.dll are still there and have not been deleted. I'm not sure what I'm missing? I installed the game so long ago i cant remember the exact process. I still have the the installation guide which is what I've been using. Am I doing something wrong?

These files aren't supposed to be deleted. If you (re-)update the game all cracked files will be replaced with new uncracked ones. You could still run the game with the "original" TS3W.exe + TSLHost.dll, but you would need an official CD/DVD for that...

Just take the TS3W.exe + TSLHost.dll from the TS3 Ultimate fix (step #5 of the guide !), and copy/paste them into the location you just mentioned. When prompted, choose "replace (all) existing files", and you should be good to go.
