Pirating + Origin

Can Origin detect pirated content?
I broke down and bought all the Sims 3 expansions recently, I've been playing them forever and figured it's only fair I pay eventually. I'm still not paying for overpriced stuff packs or store content though, and there's no way to launch my games without Origin. I've uninstalled Origin, tried the no cd package, tried launching in offline mode, I unfortunately need Origin.
So, my question is, can I safely pirate store content and stuff packs while using Origin, or am I going to get a banned account or legal trouble?

I wouldn't bet my head on it, but I think they won't detect it.
