I already have the Sims 4 (my experience) Empty I already have the Sims 4 (my experience)

So I start my own thread. Cool

I downloaded it for free from another site and it's working. May I say where/how I got it from or it's banned?

I knew so much about the Sims 4 before than playing it than I have not learned much more for playing, so basically I will tell what the surprises I had today by playing:
• I cannot find any way to edit or build a house before than moving someone there.
• Building and furnishing houses is more complicated than what it looks like in Youtube videos.
• Streets and community lots are more alive than in the Sims 3, they have many people. Sometimes, even too many considering it represents a semi-rural areas.
• Young adult and adult are completely identical. The only difference between teens and adults is that teens have two traits, instead of three (physically identical). Elder Sims are adult Sims with a face full of wrinkles and a sort of older look, the rest is identical. Clothes and hairstyles are the same. You can create a teen and his elder twin, being the face wrinkles the only difference.
• In Create a Sim we cannot edit children body parts like we do with adults. There's only a slider to make the child either thin or chubby (fat is impossible). Plus we can play a little bit with the face.
• In Create a Sim unrealistic changes are not allowed (the maximum ear, nose or eyes size are not big at all), so make truly ugly Sims is quite hard, even harder than in previous games and especially hard in children (they always look cute, unlike in the Sims 2 or 3).
• Only four aspirations are available for children and they can pick one only trait.
• We can just remove all clothes to the Sims in Create a Sim in any of the five categories (everyday, formal, athetic, sleep, party) and let them walk around wearing only the default underwear.
• We can collect frogs and minerals from the street, surprisingly there are not loading screens for this. Only to visit other houses.
• I visited a neighbour and she didn't care at all about my visit. She didn't greet me, I went to her shower and she didn't react. I cooked in her house and she didn't react. I slept in her bed and she didn't react. And we aren't friends or anything. It's very different than the Sims 3, when your neighbours could get mad at you and claim that you were acting inappropriate. If you don't mind loading screens, you can live by visiting your neighbours houses instead of adding the required furniture in your house.
• There are new skills such video gaming or comedy
• My Sim is a loner and his mood changes to tense after a while next to another Sim, but I don't notice any other effect.
• Cooking costs money (like in the Sims 1), there aren't stores where we can buy food. So the refrigerators are sort of infinite even when they are empty.
• Worlds are tiny and boring. There are very few community lots and they are completely pointless (library, museum, gym, park and disco). Everything you can do in the community lots is also available at home.
• Burgers are cooked like a sort of cream, then baked in the oven and finally come out like a cake but with meat, lettuce and cheese... The Sim doesn't eat it automatically. You have to click to eat it. Then it asks you if you want to add birthday candles (even if it is nobody's birthday) or wedding topper (even if nobody is going to get marry) over the burger. Later it asks me if I want to grab a piece. Basically burgers are considered cakes. LOL
• The most hilarious part was going to the toilet and reading the message "pee like a champion". They actually pee, unlike in the other other Sims games, there's a liquid coming out from their pants.
• Once we finish some goals (I took the money one) we can complete an aspiration, there's no platinium mood or anything like this. After completing an aspiration basically we can choose a new one...
• Everything looks like the USA countryside. I cannot make European-styled houses or anything that doesn't look like the USA.

Here some photos I took to explain my experience:

*I'll add more information later. Any question or doubt is welcome.

My main opinion for now is that the Sims 3 is still better than the Sims 4, but the Sims 4 has some interesting points to discover. The Sims 3 plumbob

you can add to this list:
no more sims coming back from work with co worker to be BF with, no more bring a new child from school to be BF.
no more you can see the co worker's at your work place, like in the sims 3. -.- it's so Depressing

WhatDidUJustCallMe?

I have not realized it yet, but my Sim goes to work alone and comes back alone...

I and I don't like how everything is teleporting.

All of this is very interesting. I didn't know that you couldn't edit children as much as you can edit adults. And the neighbor oblivious to your presence part sounds really strange. Maybe it's unintended behavior?

Oh, and that's not a burger. It's a burger-shaped cake. Razz
There are many cake shapes, and a burger is one of them.

by the way, did you chack all the careers yat?
I would say a lot is missing from the game in careers, like: Medicine ,Science ,Military, Business, Sports, politics etc.
but I"m sure they will make expansion pack for careers. I mean they have to right? 0-0

God this game is missing everything and it all is gonna be added in some mythical expansion pack. I swear I'm not even sad that this game hasn't been posted by gamez4theworld. It's not even worthy of pirating until at least 3 expansion packs come out.

Yup, I saw that quite fast. I bought a computer, I went to search a job I saw all the available job listed there.

I wanted to add something new I discovered now playing, instead of repeating what I already knew that's why I didn't speak about this.

I'm not upset about the lack of typical careers. I think it's one of the smallest flaws. I'm sure the expansion packs will add new careers in the future.

I played the Sims 3 without expansion packs (from now on TS3WE) for a long time and I disagree.

The TS3WE came out without most stuff that the Sims 2 expansion packs had; but it had the basic stuff such all ages, pools, cars or the terrain tools that the Sims 4 doesn't have.

The TS3WE added two very interesting points that never existed in the previous Sims games and that made me believe that switching from the Sims 2 to the Sims 3 was a good idea:
- An open world where we could walk around smoothly and without loading screens, without feel jailed in a house anymore. We could visit other Sims houses and be considered rude if we tried to use their beds or showers.
- Nearly infinite possibilities for our hair, our clothes, our walls or our furniture.
Both features are completely lost in the Sims 4.

Sims 4 is going to be a money milker just to get the basics for decent gameplay even. Said that all along. lol Facepalm   I loaded the Sims 3 base game from my disc to an old laptop "unpatched", and played it a bit. It definately had more starting out. Way more.  Razz   Happy gaming though to everyone. Smile
