Unfortunately, it's impossible to say at the moment. 
No one knows exactly when it will be released. The team is already working hard on it, searching and testing. 

But rest assured that any updates on the matter will be shared here on the Forum and in our FB Page.

If you have allowed newsletters in your profile, then yes, you will get a mail notice when The Sims 4 is released. You can be sure of that. Smile

With regards to Sims-specific newsletters, it wouldn't be bad (too) if you subscribed to the "Sims fans" group on here, in order to get e-mails for any news on Sims games. See this here:
