Windows is searching for TS4.exe error [SOLVED]
Hello!
I've been relying on g4tw for a long time for Sims and it's always been wonderful, however this is the second time I've run into a problem with installers, but this time when trying to install Sims 4, I couldn't figure this out, even after looking at someone with the same problem and trying their way of fixing it, it'd still give me the error.
This is the error I received:
After receiving it and closing it, I couldn't do anything on my desktop and I made sure to turn off my anti-virus whilst doing this all, so I'm slightly confused with why it's not working properly.
I've yet to attempt to uninstall and re-install, but I'd appreciate any suggestions, will update if I figure out how to fix it or if re-installing works.
Thank you in advance.

Hello there!
What is happening is that your antivirus is deleting the TS4.exe from the Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin folder. This file is included in our Ultimate Fix, so if you download it and then copy and paste all of the 4 folders inside of the RAR you'll get it back. The thing is, if you don't disable your antivirus when you downloaded the Ultimate Fix, the AV will also delete it from there so the process will be useless.
Have you tried re-downloading the Ultimate Fix with the AV disabled? And make sure to add all of the folders to the exception list, too, or it may delete the TS4.exe again.
Please, let us know how it goes. Good luck!

I managed to fix it, I accidentally misclicked while disabling my Avast and only disabled it for 10 minutes, rather permanently, thus it caused the issue, although I'm surprised, because I made sure that my whole EA folder was set to be left alone by Avast and I received no notification and nothing showed up in the quarantine zone.
Thank you again for the fast answer. <3

Glad that you were able to solve it! And you're very welcome.
Yes, sometimes the antivirus doesn't even give a warning about a file they delete, so you won't even notice it. Only when you get the error it will be apparent.
Problem solved, topic closed. Have fun!
