Transfer a family...?

Do someone know how to save a family in order to reinstall the game and still have my game running once it's done? I think there should be a file i can save, but i don't know wich one.

Copy the "saves" folder from
"C:\Users\(YOUR USERNAME)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4"
I think that's all you need, but you can copy the entire "The Sims 4" folder just to be safe.
