Origin is currently not running!

Hello,
Since yesterday I can't start up my Sims 4,
This is my error:
It worked great but I don't know how this happend.
I uninstalled Origin and The Sims 4 and all the files.
Then I downloaded an other Sims 4 download but I got the same error.
After 3 other Sims 4 downloads it gives me the same error. Then I
downloaded the games4theworld Sims 4 with the Ulimate Fix because
I thought that, that will fix the problem. I downloaded it with my
firewall and defender off. And I did put the ultimate fix correctly in my Sims 4 folder.
Please help me!

Hi, I experienced the same problem but I recently found a solution to it. You have to:
1) Open Origin, log in
2) Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and click on 'TS4'.
And you'll be able to play the game afterwards
Do this everytime when you wanna play the game. That worked for me so hopefully it'll work for you too!

Hello,
The disadvantage is that all DLC items will become un-usable by having Origin logged on during play. But yes, indeed, at the moment it's the 'best' workaround for people experiencing this. Though I still believe that people experiencing that issue have either missed one (tiny) thing or did something wrong somewhere. We'll need to see if we can come up with something better, over time...
