Sims 4 Memory Could Not Be Written Empty Sims 4 Memory Could Not Be Written

Post by Guest Thu 05 Mar 2015, 05:43

Hello! I would like to start of by saying that you guys are real heroes to the gaming community Very Happy Now I hate to bother you guys but I'm growing frustrated with my lack of Sims 4 Sad So recently, I was forced to delete BitTorrent because of Verizon threatening to cancel my wifi (I was an amateur at torrenting and I was "caught"). So unfortunately, I lost my data for the Sims 4. However, after a while, my need for the Sims 4 grew to uncontrollable measures so I decided to install it again. I uninstalled my original TS4.exe file and I deleted my sims 4 folder from the Program Files folder. I re-installed the sims 4 and the updated ultimate fix so I expected everything to go smoothly like my first time (it didn't). I tried everything I could but every time I tried accessing the game, I would get "The instruction at 0x004525e0 referenced memory at 0x0000000. The memory could not be written." I don't understand what I'm doing wrong but I suspect that the problem is linked back to the fact that I deleted BitTorrent before (just to clarify, I now have it again). Pls  Help! I would be extremely grateful! Thank you for taking your time to read this and help me Pikachu

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Try un-installing the game properly. That means: go into the System Control Panel, and un-install the program from there. Simply deleting the Program files folder is not enough. Smile

After you un-installed, make sure to re-boot the computer. And then you re-install TS4 and apply the Ultimate fix. Good luck ! Smile
