sims 3 fix update error. [SOLVED]

OK, i have applied the fix exactly like the guide says. i put the base game, generations, and town life stuff cracks into.....C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.......and i put the rest of the cracks to there game bins. when i go to update the dl manager will pop up download the patches, the install shield will pop up and download the update and then another pop up called dfc gorilla will pop up it will download to about 93% and then i will get a message sayin update error: invalid file found......can you tell me what i did wrong and/or how to fix it?
