the sims 3 closes. [SOLVED]

hi i installed the ultimate fix and my sims 3 still closes so came on here and read through all the other treads of people with the same problem and tried every fix the only one that works is to disable the AGP Texture Acceleration but that only worked for one day i played on it for hours and the next day i went to play on it it started closing down again. i have no mods or cc i have tried running it without them and it still closes. i tried windowed and it still closes.

i tried everything listed here as i said only one thing worked but only for a day i want to play my Sims without worrying that i will lose everything i just did since the last save.

i tried updating my graphics card but it says its already up to date. i know my computer is compatible with the game i sent the game specs to a computer shop on ebay and they told me i would need a graphic card update so i paid extra so they could do that just so i could play the sims 3

Have you try run your game without launcher? If still not, Please read this: Run Sims 3 without launcher

yeah i tried that it plays for an hour then closes

So I assume you did have CC and Mods? If yes, you might not have deleted them all correctly. These kind of problems without any errors are usually caused by incompatible Mods / CC. Please completely delete the "Mods" folder in your "My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3" folder and delete all other kind of custom stuff.

Are you sure you added ALL the game's .exe files to the DEP? ALL of them.

Hmmm... weird. Are you really 100% sure you never downloaded ANYTHING extra for the game? A piece of clothing for the game, Mods, Custom stuff/Content?

no i though i might have so i unistalled everything to do with the sims 3 manually and reinstalled it and havent been on any website to donload anything

i ran that before i installed the sims and it said i wsa well above minium it wsa at the very high end

i tried both of these options i closed everything it would allow me to using task manager and i tried the program but it still closed. i have no idea why

yh i lowered all the graphics in the game and played windowed for a while i thought windowed was working then it closed does the same when i lowered the graphics it still closes

i have used retail i bought my games in the shop i only have the sims 3, town life, design and high tech

HI thanks for all the help but i now have my sims 3 working i had to reinstall windows because it messed up and i installed the sims 3 first and the expansions i have with no other programs but driver genius and winrar and i have found that the sims 3 works been playing on it for 4 days now without a crash so it must have been a bad installation of windows of conflicting with a program. thank you for trying to help me xxx i can have loads of fun simming. i will definetly tell people about this website if they are having problems thank you again. you are awsome
