Origin / New TS4 Fix

After waiting in anticipation I updated TS4 today with the recent fix, a few hours prior I had been playing the game with no problems yet after installing this patch and trying to start up the game again I kept getting Origin attempting to open and errors about Origin needing to run in order for me to play.

I'm pretty sure I've tried everything (restarting laptop, reinstalling fix, altering security) but to no avail
Now since I have the original base game from origin  my destination folder thing is under 'Origin games' instead of 'Electronic Arts' but since I have already updated with the fix in order to get outdoor retreat I know this couldn't be the problem. 

I'm honestly unsure what to do now as when I start the game with origin running all the previous packs are removed as someone already said would happen.

Maybe the new version of the game/fix could solve your problem, plus add more functionality and stuff...
