The Sims 3 skill bar stop raising

My English is not so good.
When I was in the middle of the game after learning the skills they stopped half to increase no matter how long or what method I use.
I was wondering if this is a problem or of the game is because it has a limit of skills that you can learn?

Hello,
You should be able to have and increase as many skills as you like, but some skills have other requirements to allow improvement.
Charisma skill is a good example, you need to have a certain amount of acquaintances and friends to be allowed to increase further. Different skill levels have different requirements.
I'm not sure if other skills have such requirements though, not that I ever noticed.
