Tried everything, still wont work :'(. [SOLVED]

I downloaded OLS, Gen and TL to add to my collection as well as the Sims store updates (BS (borrowed from friend), WA and High-end, store bought) and followed the instructions in the ultimate fix to the letter (only installed those patches/cracks and installed TL and gen crack to TheSims3/Game/Bin like it said, updated and applied #crack) But when i opened the launcher, the TL icon was faded and when i tried to play, it asked me to insert the gen disk to play Sad

So i uninstalled the downloaded games, re applied ultimate fix (wouldn't let me update cos was done already) applied #crack but it said the same thing
I kept trying but did not succeed so I uninstalled EVERYTHING, downloaded the Base Game from u guys (couldn't find mine) and re-installed only the games I downloaded in this order Base game>Town Life>Gen>Outdoor Living
Before I installed Gen, the TL icon appeared in the launcher but after I installed everything and followed the ultimate fix up to step 1. But I couldn't install the updates (downloaded fine) So i manually installed it (from your website) which worked Smile

Unfourntually when i tried to play... "please insert Generations game disk to play" >.<
I have attached screen shots of C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and
C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Outdoor Living Stuff\Game\Bin
I did not put any cracks into the other files.
Plz help me, I don't know what I did wrong Sad

One last thing, If this does get fixed, (prays) is there anything I should know before i install WA and high end loft stuff? Do I have to add cracks to them, re do something or should i just download them off u guys?

Hello,
Both problems you describe are caused by a misplaced or missing crack.
A mistake many people make is that they think all files in the fix are crack files, but there's only one crack. The base game and all of the expansion and stuff packs each have their own folder with files in the fix, but these aren't cracks, these are original files that you need in order to update the game. Not using these can result in an invalid file error.
After updating the game, it is the files from the #crack folder that you need to paste into the game\bin folder of the base game.
Please watch this instruction video to make sure you did everything according to the installationguide.

Installing WA and HELS shouldn't be a problem.

This may sound odd but my mistake was using the files from the ultimate fix Ermahgerd

instead of the cracks from the game files themselves I is confused

I feel like such a fool I is confused

But am so happy to be able to finally play jocolor

Quick question before u close topic. I have just tried to install my store bought version of WA but the setup says that the regional store code is different than what the expansion requires. This product requires the same regional code in order to be installed Ermahgerd

Should i just download the game off ur site then? Or has it something to do with the regestory thing?

You may have to change the SKU in order to install WA. This is done as follows:
Type 'regedit' in the search box and press [ENTER]. Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sims\The Sims 3 and double-click on 'SKU'. Change the shown
number to 2 and press 'OK'. Close the Register Editor.
