Where to begin?? Also have base game through origin

Hello I'm very new to torrenting and downloading these things. I have The Sims 4 base game purchased and downloaded through Origin and I want to get the expansion pack Get to Work from games4theworld. But I'm very confused where to start and how to make it work since I have origin. I've already torrented the expansion pack and downloaded the installation guide but after reading through several threads on here I'm still lost. Any tips on how to begin, especially already having the base game through origin? Sorry if this is already an asked question, i was looking everywhere for a way but my brain is fried lol.

Simple answer: It doesnt work.

If you have the base game through origin your game is on a newer version than the crack we have: See here.

If you want to play with the expansions you need to also download the cracked base game and play with it (but and because its an old version).

ah damn. thanks for the input friend! would uninstalling the origin based game and getting the crack version from here work instead? i could also just easily do it on the laptop actually because i haven't installed the purchased game on here yet.

If i am not wrong, just install the expansion from games4theworld while following those instruction in the installation guide. Then add the ultimate fix into your base game folder.

i've read that one already and i was confused the first time because i couldn't find the guide and the files weren't appearing. because you have to replace the files right?

(If you downloaded and installed your base game via Origin, the crack goes into this folder instead: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin )

6. Start the game and... ENJOY playing!
