Have original Sims 4 game that I bought, can't get expansion packs to work?

Whenever you go to your Program Files x86 then into Electronic Arts, in my computer (I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit) it goes from Program Files x86 > Origin Games > The Sims 4
Is this normal? All the files are exactly as they say in the video. I bought the original Sims 4 with the code and I can't get the expansion packs to work. I turned my AVG off before I extracted the rar files, put them all in the right place, and I still can't get the expansion packs to load. Will someone please help?
