Mcafee won't allow me to add folders to exclution list Empty Mcafee won't allow me to add folders to exclution list

Post by Guest Sat 19 Dec 2015, 13:58

Each time I do it says it is a critical folder and excluding it could cause a serious security problem on my PC. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this before and how to resolve it because I believe this is stopping my game from working (base game works, expansions dont)
I also re installed windows yesterday due to viruses, the exclusion list worked fine before this.
Apologies if this has already been posted or posted in incorrect forum, I've been looking for help all morning!
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum and sorry for the late reply,

See these 2 topics, if you haven't done so yet:

The error you are hving most likely means that the anti-virus is (still) tampering with the crack files. Have you also considered uninstalling McAffee (and re-booting the computer afterwards), if it doesn't let you configure exclusions properly ?
