Legit updated base game with cracked expansions?

I have the legit Sims 4 installed and updated, but only up to 1.11 (so not the latest version). I want to be able to install the cracked expansions. What would be the easiest way of doing so? Do I have to reinstall back to the base game with no updates and just go from there? Am I able to do so?

If you have a legit base game on patch version 1.11, and you update, then it will be on 1.15 at the end, which is "past" the version that the pirated game supports (the pirated Sims 4 supports game version 1.14.103.1010 only). It's probably best to uninstall that legit base game, and re-download a pirated Sims 4 base game. For example from G4TW:
