Game data Incomplete error

When I first installed the game and the "Get to work" expansion everything worked fine . But one day when I opened the game the " Game data Incomplete " error appeared .
Then I uninstalled the game and installed it again and the error appeared ... again . I searched on the internet and they said that it might have happened because Origin was running in the background ( but i didn't even have Origin installed on my PC back then ) .
How can I solve this problem ? Thank you in advance

Hello and welcome to the forum @Annaaw,
If you added any mods to your game, please temporarily remove them. If the error still persists, try moving your installation folder of The Sims 4 (the one under Program files x86) directly onto the desktop. Then try re-running the game from there.
