Need help with Get together Installation! Empty Need help with Get together Installation!

Post by Guest Tue 29 Mar 2016, 22:05

Hello,

I truly hope someone can help me out with this, since I really want to play all the expansions. The thing is that when I installed The Sims 4 and Get to Work, everything worked perfectly. But when I added Get Together it didn't work anymore. I got the 'Origin is not running' error, I tried to crack it again, I applied the ultimate fix but nothing is working. Im running windows 10 and I have Total Defense Anti-Virus, but I have never had a problem before with anything else I have downloaded and installed from here, and I have had this anti virus for years. What am I doing wrong?

Hello and welcome to the forum @rhairhai,

Is your Windows operating system a 64-bit version ? If yes, please try moving your installation folder of The Sims 4 directly under C:\Program files. NOT the Program files (x86).

Delete all desktop shortcuts for The Sims 4 that you may have made so far, and go under C:\Program files\The Sims 4\Game\Bin. Make a new desktop shortcut from the TS4_x64.exe, and try running the game again. See what happens this time.

You'll need to double-check your anti-virus program too, if the exclusions are still set up correctly. Good luck !
