Hi,

in the guide for installing sims 4 it say "install get to work and get together" Do I really need to install both of these? If yes why?

Hello again,

You can

1) play just the base game, or
2) if you want to install the DLC, you must install ALL of them. Read up on the correct procedure and install order here.

You would need to install all DLC because if you don't the game will not work properly. The Sims 4 works entirely different than earlier Sims games, so you can't just pick and choose your DLC.

Also, for most people it doesn't really matter anyway. The Sims 4 is so limited in its game content and system requirements that you can really install ALL DLC straight away. Most people really want to go for the "complete pack".
