Origin is not running. [SOLVED]

Things in the sims 4 were fine until yesterday when i decided to get to work. The notification said unable to start because the origin is not running. I searched and searched and did all the things they said to do like to exclude the folder from my antivirus software and etc and it still didn't work so i decided to uninstall both the programs: the base sims 4 and the get to work. and then i tired to install only the sims 4 base without the get to work but it cant work and it said that i should update the game via origin. I searched through my laptop and I cant even find the file origin on my laptop.

I search through games4world and I downloaded the sims 4 update fix. After that i already did like the instructions told me to do, like installing both the redist folders and etc, but when i tried to launch the ts4, it still is unable to start and the notif said that the origin is not running and tell me to make sure that origin is running. What should I do? Please help me Sad

Hello and welcome to the forum @bunnybunny,

What is your Windows system ? And did you also make sure to configure the exclusions in Windows Defender ? You should also check your anti-virus settings again. In general, have a look at this topic and these "alternative solutions" too. Maybe something from there can help you.

After that, please re-apply the files from Get to Work, and then also delete the file GameVersion.txt that is located under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. Try the game again now. Good luck !

Dear admin Carlos,

Mine is windows 7 and oh my God thanks a lot it really works! I read the alternative solution page and realized that my crack file aren't from the same date as the page said and then i downloaded the new crack and it finally works! Thanks a lot for your help! Smile

Windows 7 is very nice indeed. Very Happy
