New computer and now I get Origin Error.
I have read every post on it and done everything and nothing works. The game only works if I dont put in the get together patch. Even if I try the ultimate fix it does not work. I am confused. I have windows defender turned off everything is in exceptions on AVG. Nothing is making it work. Also I do not have Program Files (86) folder since I have a 32 bit windows. I use to have 64 on old computer.

The culprit is RLDOrigin.dll. This file is not required when playing in 64-bits but is extremely essential in 32-bits Windows.
Most probably your anti-virus has placed this file in quarantaine making it unaccessable for the Sims-4.
Furthermore, Defender has the nasty habit to refuse access to the Bin-folder when it encounters a suspect file.
You do not even get the opportunity to override Defender.
Download the crack again (don't use the one you had already downloaded as it is probably already "killed" by Defender).
Other possibilties:
Your installation-folder is still in Program Files - Electronic Arts or in Origin Games
Origin in open somewhere on your computer.

Hello,
Are you running Windows 10, by any chance, on that new computer ? The previous poster was right; though ultimately I would not suggest using AVG, because this is one of those programs that do not 'really' give you control whatsoever. I wrote the post here, in which I highlighted avast & Kaspersky, if you want to give that a try.

Also, I've seen many cases in which the file wasn't blocked or removed at all, yet the game showed this particular error. Sometimes it had to do with firewalls blocking the 'communication' of the crack, sometimes third-party security software interfered, like Lavasoft's "Web Companion".
Yes, I'd suggest uninstalling AVG and re-booting the computer. If necessary, try re-installing TS4 too, and see how it goes from there. Good luck !

In addition to Carlos above.
Anti-virus apps do not remove the file RLDOrigin.dll, they only prevent de file from acting.
So even when you are seeing this particular file in the folder Game - Bin it's no guarantee that it is operational.
You can download a new crack Here

Okay thanks everyone! I am using Windows 7 on this new computer. I have not upgraded to 10 yet. I also downloaded AVG so since that seems to be there problem I am going to try to uninstall and try the patch again and get back you! I also do not have Origin installed at all on this computer. Be back in a bit to let you know how this all goes! Thanks again!

Re: New computer and now I get Origin Error.
Cause of Origin-errors:
1. Origin is active on your computer.
2. Crack/fix is de-activated by anti-virus or not placed in folder The Sims 4\Game\Bin
3. Folder The Sims 4 is situated in folder Electronic Arts or Origin Games
4. You have copied TS4.exe or TS4_x64.exe to your desktop instead of a shortcut.
When you have 64-bits Windows, start the game with TS4_x64.exe from the folder The Sims 4\Game\Bin.
