Origin is currently not running - Linux OS. [SOLVED] Empty Origin is currently not running - Linux OS. [SOLVED]

Hi. Like a lot of people I have the problem of Origin is currently not running dialogue box. I am running 32 bit Ubuntu 15.10 OS but use programs such as Wine and Crossover to run the game. The base games runs perfectly and it also runs with Get to Work add-on. The contents sometimes disappear but is solved by turning off my firewall and re-cracking the game. The problem begins when I apply the Get Together pack. I have no anti-virus on my PC other than the Ubuntu Firewall which I disable. I have tried downloading the crack and applying it again but this does not work. I have tried the Ultimate Fix and the Hotfix on separate occasions and neither have worked.

I followed the instructions in the guides and moved The Sims 4 folder out of the Electronic Arts folder and I do not have Origin installed on my computer. I'm out of ideas. I watch the video by the Sims Architect but I did not stop the error. Can you help?

Hello and welcome to the forum @SquiffyIffy,

Unfortunately I have no meaningful experience with Linux (or Mac OS), although I always wanted to try Linux just for fun.  WhatDidUJustCallMe?  Hence you shouldn't expect much help from me here.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try the tips in the forum and let you know how it goes. I hope it works.

Update!!
The post worked. Thank you so much. I can finally play Get Together.
